If you have been wondering what Nigerian model and actress, Beverly Osu has been up to, you may to take a seat and read on. The alluring and sultry vixen who is mostly known for her role as a  housemate of the popular Big Brother Africa, season eight, has quite an interesting project up her sleeve.

Since BBA house, Beverly has worked with different concept studios, the clothing line of Clarion Chukwura,e.t.c She has also made cameo appearances in music videos and starred in top Nollywood movies and shows including Jenifa’s Dairies. Recently, she has been focused on “The Dwelling Support Foundation”. An NGO she started to helps to revive the slums, and help the poor.  We find this act of kindness on her part utterly inspiring, which is why we decided to make her GLAM AFRICA’s celebrity feature for Day 8 of #12daysof glam, our 12 days of Christmas giveaway contest courtesy of Amali Cosmetics.

In this short interview, Beverly tells us everything about her involvement with the Dwelling Support Foundation and also hints us on her plans for 2018.

 

 You recently launched a foundation called Dwelling Support Foundation. What is about?

B: Dwelling support foundation helps to revive the slums, mentally, physically and most importantly sharing the word of God. We need people to understand God’s plan for us.

How did you get involved in this foundation? What inspired it? Also, what role does your brand play in it?

B: Working on a movie sometime last year and I saw some men getting sand from the sea ”manually” .. for little or nothing .. I was overwhelmed … so I decided that I had to do something no matter how little to touch lives

How have you been funding it? Have you had any partnerships so far?

B: I have been funding it myself so far, it’s draining but it’s for a course of good will. No findings or partnerships for now but I believe in the near future we will.

How do you manage running the foundation with modeling and acting?

B: It’s pretty simple .. I manage my time, I give room for each to grow

What has been your personal key to success so far?

B: My personal key to success, is believing God’s plan for my life.. when it comes to creativity I’m a risk taker .. I love to explore and challenge myself

What is top on your wish list at the moment? Why?

B: Sincerely I don’t believe in wishes, I can wish for the best things in life and it ends there but I can also put in the work to get the best things of life… I just can’t wait to explore my full potential

What are some of your personal and/or professional goals for 2018?

B: 2018 is already a year of accomplishments because 2017 was an eye opener in some many areas of my life … Growth is constant and 2018 just has to be better.
