It’s clear that social media is not here for the new bust of the most iconic queen in the history of Egypt. The 3d reconstruction of the 3,400-year-old Queen Nefertiti’s mummy by scientists from the University of Bristol.

Queen Nefertiti may have been the mother of King Tutankhamun. She ruled alongside her husband, Pharaoh Akhenaten from 1332–1323 BC and history suggest she took over the reign after his demise.

It took over 500 hours for the reconstruction of the Nefertiti’s face according to paleoartist Elisabeth Daynès – who previously worked on King Tutankhamun’s remake.

Many people took their argument from the point that the image that was shown looks more white, which does not delineate appearance of the queen, believed to be darker.
