Guba Expo 2018 is bi-annual Trade Event organized to strengthen and promote the business relationship between African countries and the United Kingdom. This year’s edition will follow similar patterns but, obviously with a few changes made to adjust to the growing global business climate.

The event starts on Friday, June 15 with a special seminar to touch on relevant topics like International Trade and Export, Brexit, Customer Service, Branding and Marketing, Finance, Social Media and Online Presence, Legislation, and Business Opportunites.  Speakers include Ghana’s High Commissioner to the UK and Republic of Ireland – Hon. Papa Owusu Ankomah, trader, life coach and entrepreneur – Michael Agyei and the Chief Executive Officer of Rich Visions – Mavis Amankwah at  Lecture Theatre 101 Stephen Lawrence Building,  University of Greenwich, London.

In order to boost sales for African traders living in the United Kingdom and those travelling there for business, open exhibitions will be held on Saturday, June 16 and Sunday, July 17 at General Gordon Square Wellington Street, London. At the exhibition, products made from the continent are exposed to both Africans, diasporans and Foreign consumers.

Guba Expo uses these well-planned series of events to probably equipped and informed Black-owned businesses of the immense opportunities of taking their business from their comfort zone to other markets.
