Last night, the new movie A United Kingdom premiered at the British Film Institute festival. The film stars David Oyelowo and Rosamund Pike and tells the true story of the late Sir Seretse Khama, who was the prince of Botswana in the 1960s and cause worldwide shock by marrying Ruth Williams Khama, a white woman from London.
The film was directed by Amma Asante (who also directed Belle and A Way of Life) and other cast members include Terry Pheto, Jack Davenport, Laura Carmichael, Jessica Oyelowo and Tom Felton.
