Africa Has Done It Again As Davido, Wizkid, Stormzy Scoop MOBO Awards 2017 | Complete List Of Winners

The 2017 Music Of Black Origin (MOBO) Awards was held at a star-studded ceremony at First Direct Arena in Leeds, United Kingdom, hosted by Maya Jama.

British singer of Ghanaian descent, Stormzy had a big night winning three different awards as the Best Male Act, Best Grime Act and Best Album of the year for Gang Signs & Prayers.

He is an African in the diaspora doing the continent proud with his talent, however, that doesn’t mean Africans living on the continent were left out as two of the biggest act of recent years, Wizkid and Davido prove their supremacy once more.

Wizkid beat the heavy competitions from big Best International Acts like Drake, SZA, Cardi B, Jay Z, Kendrick Lamar, etc to win the Best International Act while Davido made sure he solidified his position as the Best African Act, pushing away competitions from Eugy, Julz, Maleek Berry, Mr Eazi, Sarkodie etc.
