Lovers of the female superhero film, Wonder Woman must have every reason to be excited now that second part is happening. The only sad part is, the wait is going to be a bit longer as the sequel named Wonder Woman 1984 will make its official debut in November 2019.

But, thank God, there is an African factor associated with the sequel. Per the revelation made by Warner Bros., the film will be shot in countries like the United States, United Kingdom, Spain, and the Canary Islands. Our focus is on the Canary Islands which are said to be used as Diana’s (Princess of the Amazon played by Gal Gadot) homeland of Themyscira. Why are we so bothered about the Canary Islands? We are because the Islands are located at the West of Morroco.

In Wonder Woman 1, the scenes at Themyscira were shot at Amalfi Coast in Italy. Bringing it closer to Africa in part 2 could generate even bigger euphoria around the film which around became the best selling female film of all time. We are now curious to see Wonder Woman 1984 first.
