Horse racing in Africa is an ancient sport that has enjoyed much patronage in the past but unfortunately facing a decline in some African countries in recent times. South Africans, however, maintained the love for the spot over the years and are doing well with it in terms of commercial purposes and pleasure as well.

Prince Of Wales Cup now Africa Polo Open is bridging the cap and finding ways to rejuvenate interest in the sport once more. Therefore, the 2018 edition will be staged at Rosefield Polo Club, South Africa on Sunday, September 23 from 11:30 am to 9:00 pm. Nigeria will face South Africa for the chance to win the title with Neku Atawodi-Edun made the face for the event.
