African female sensational vocalist, Efya has as part of the celebration of women’s month ushered in a new single – ‘Whoman Woman’. A true dedication to the effortless contributions of women in making the world a better place.

Known to be one of the continent’s most prolific writers, Efya has carefully created masterpieces such as Forgetting Me, One Of Your Own, Love, Until The Dawn, the list is endless, in the past. In 2017, she teamed up with another talented musician from Ghana – Haywaya to create ‘Tamalady’ – a song purely made to eulogised women within Africa and beyond.

Moreover, she seems to be an expert in penning heartwarming songs, and she has just given the world a lesson or two on the importance of women in our societies.

Celebrities around the world are championing a new cause for women this year, it started with the ‘Time’s Up’ movement at the 75th Golden Globe Awards. And, ‘Whoman Woman’ by Efya is a classic reminder of the movement.
