We are almost at the end of 2018, hence planning for the last month of the year should be paramount on your list. Everybody loves December, the parties never stop, also families far and near get to unite during this festive season. One party which should feature vividly in your plans is the Afropunk Party in Johannesburg, South Africa.

What got our attention is the theme for this year ‘The People Resist’, using it to empower and send a strong message against resist activities happening in the world and how to best stand against them to level the playing field for all.

Therefore, the second instalment of the part takes place at Constitution Hill, Johannesburg on December 30 and 31, 2018 with performances from Azagaia from Mozambique, Kaytranada, The Internet, Flying Lotus, Thundercat, Thandiswa Mazwai, Public Enemy, Moonchild Sanelly, Dope St Jude, YoungstaCPT and more. For the world to be a better place, a united front to stand against certain inhuman occurrences is key, people of colour have suffered this for many years. Glad this party is highlighting some of these and bringing them to the attention of the world using entertainment. See You There!
