African Fashion week 2017 is live and guess what? It’s a platform for young people instrumental in the sustainability of social change and growth of the fashion industry. AFWN will feature textile and garment manufacturing conference, press conference, street catwalk and fashion shows from top fashion designers, model casting, hair styling, makeup shows, and more. AFWN will promote peak designers- Modela, Zizi Cardow, Asake Oge; aspiring and emerging designers comprising, Seed of Abraham, Klamziestyle, Simply sleek Nigeria, Fyyfe, Veens clothing;  Da Viva Designers like Araewa, Nipo skin Ghana, Bi Jelly Couture and more. The 2-day event tagged, “Celebrating the Vibrant Pulse of Africa” is set to light up the National Stadium where the event is set to hold on the 3rd with 3 shows for 2pm, 4:30 pm & 6:30 pm while the 4th of June will witness 2 shows for 3pm and 5pm where African lovers of Fashion will converge. 56 designers and 40 exhibitors selected across the continent will be on ground to showcase style, innovation and elegance.

Face of AFWN 2017 and TV personality, Amira Ibrahim-Alfa, will host the Red carpet alongside our very own entertainment icon, Denrele Adun.
