On Saturday, April 28, 2018, one of Ghana’s plush hotel, Kempinski Hotel Gold Coast located right in the heart of the city, Accra played host to wide range of makeup, beauty enthusiasts and celebrities for the Ghana Makeup Awards.
Ghanaian actress, Juliet Ibrahim and presenter, Ato Turkson compèred the night which celebrated excellence in the makeup and beauty industry. Organized by Makeup Ghana, we spotted celebrities like Zynnell Zuh, Martha Ankomah, Menaye Donkor, Becca and more at the event.
This happens to be the second edition of the show, and the organizers put up the best in terms of precision. If this direction is maintained each year with little improvement, the Ghana Makeup Awards might become the biggest lifestyle award-show in the country and by that will draw patronage from neighbouring countries too.
Before, the Saturday showdown at the Kempinski Hotel, an exhibition and interactive one weeklong Makeup and Beauty Fair was held for all the experts, business people and investors at the La Palm Beach Hotel.
