You know your creative career is about to take a turn for the better when Apple Music takes an interest in your work. The music and video streaming giant which first came into the limelight three years ago after it was launched Apple Inc. has a habit of turning dreams of musicians into realities. The platform has narrowed its global search for the next music gems to the African continent has picked six not-hugely known musicians from Zimbabwe and South Africa to benefit from the Cape Town Creative Lab (CTCL).

Three musicians were from each of these countries; from Zimbabwe are Shungudzo, Bantu and Dr Chaii, and, from South Africa; Dope Saint Jude, Kaien Cruz and Sipho the Gift.

Their individual releases will be spread within a period of just over month, commencing from August 31 to October 5, 2018. This a great opportunity for a larger audience to have a feel of the emerging talents from Africa are capable of. Be on the lookout for songs from these musicians – they might be the next global sensations.
