Since leaving the white house in 2017 for Donald Trump to take over, Barack and Michelle Obama have dedicated their time to help empower the next generation to greater heights.
A new report by The New York Times suggests the Obamas are in advance talks with online video streaming platform, Netflix over a possible provision of series of shows.
Several details of the deal haven’t been announced yet, however, the soul of the content will be based on real-life inspiration stories. The shows are in two parts covering areas such as foreign policy, voting rights, health care and immigration moderated by Barack, while Michelle’s one will be centred on nutrition.
The couple is also working on their separate memoirs, Michelle gave the title and date of release of her own to be ‘Becoming’ and November 11, 2018, respectively. If this deal materializes, it will be the first time a former first family has created a content for television.
