BeMogul (Black Enterprise Mogul) awards want to bring the needed attention that Black-owned businesses across the United Kingdom deserve. The main award show took place on November 22 at the Natwest Building, London with over 200 guests, all who believe in the agenda of such a great initiative.

The brain behind the BeMogul, Mavis Amankwah, who is a well-vexed and seasoned entrepreneur with several awards in her cabinet pushed this initiative into the limelight in 2017 and has ever since been accepted; the reception from the second instalment shows, honouring businesses from small to large scales that positively contributing to the betterment of society and helping grow Britain’s economy.

In her words, Mavis gave a detailed explanation of the ambitions harboured before creating such platforms which according to her is to provide a platform for positive role models and also re-emphasized on the dedicated efforts of Black entrepreneurs, that in most cases do not get the needed recognition.

In attendance was the founder of Music Of Black Origin (MOBO), Kanya King MBE with the support from revered politicians such as the Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, Member of Parliament of the United Kingdom, Kelly Tolhurst and endorsement from celebrities including June Sarpong and Levi Roots.
