African culture has been on the rise within the world in recent times, prompting several international entertainers to turn their attention to the continent. Beyoncé has played a huge part in taking the culture and rich history to the next height on many of her projects.

Among them is her major contribution in the remake on The Lion King released by Disney last year which saw her voiced Nala. She worked on The Gift album for the film as well and revealed in an interview that she consider the album as a love letter to Africa.
A few months after the release of the two projects, she announced Black Is King visual album to be exclusively shared on Disney. Consist of visuals for most of the songs on the Gift album, she just shared the visual for Already featuring Shatta Wale from Ghana and Major Lazer, today.

Before sharing the visual album on July 31, Beyoncé shared two trailers with a cameo from her husband Jay Z. Kelly Rowland, Lupita Nyong’o, Naomi Campbell and more. Black Is King has contributions from a lot of creatives such as Emmanuel Adjei, Blitz Bazawule, Kwasi Fordjour, others from around the world. The shooting was done across West Africa, the United States and Europe.
According to reports, Beyoncé and Disney will also stream the album on several African countries. Stream the visual album HERE.
