Often, public figures take on as part of their role in society to create or make a meaningful contribution to benefit others. Some are seen frequently making donations to the less privileged, adopt orphans to look after, others also take the time to build schools to educate the next generation.

South African DJ & Producer, Black Coffee is making a special move towards establishing a music, art and fashion school in his hometown, Johannesburg. He looking to impart the new generation with the right knowledge to take up challenges in South Africa and the rest of the continent. Black Coffee will be assisted by South African artist, Nelson Makamo and fashion designer, Laduma.

In terms of music, Black Coffee has created ’Gongbox’, the African version of iTunes. On this app, you will find everything music wise from Africa. Great Idea!

The plan is also about building a solid future as he is preparing to collaborate with Virgil Abloh to design a new neighbourhood equipped with restaurant, stores and more. Abloh will be working with SAOTA Architecture and Design to achieve that.
