The name Bozoma Saint John is revered in among her peers and men especially when she is one of the few women who is doing so well in Silicon Valley and then her position as the Chief Brand Officer at ridesharing, food delivery, and transportation network company, Uber.

Her position is a critical one as it projects the brand’s image to the outside with constant reports sent to the Chief Executive Officer and the entire board, is that an easy position for a black woman from Ghana.

Bozoma proved it could be done after she successfully engineered a positive change to the image of PepsiCo and worked as a marketing executive at Apple Music. She had a chat with forbesafrica revealing how her new position as the Chief Brand Officer at Uber came about, and why she developed a strong mentality towards work.

Her personal goals a must achieve the target for her after the losing her husband to cancer, she developed the get-it-today, not tomorrow attitude and started pushing barriers to get things done. She looks to be a source of motivation to all African and black women to have the self-confidence to chase after their dreams.
