Originality seems to be the word Burna Boy has come to be stuck on without the mindset of changing to do what others are doing on the market in terms music style and the genre to belong to. The Nigerian born talent has been known to have his own style fusing different indigenous African sounds into his dancehall style to create masterpieces that we are enjoying.
His latest work with two international musicians can only be described as a stepping stone in the right direction for him as a creative act with the foresight of selling African sounds to the world through his works.
He was recruited by American rock band, Fall Out Boy on their latest single ‘Sunshine Riptide‘ coming from their new album ‘Mania’, we must say, it is the kind of sound that had much time invested in it, and it came out good also because two talented groups from different continent wanted to create a unique sound and they did it.
Burna Boy didn’t stop there as he moved on to collaborate with English writer and singer, Lily Allen on a beautiful song titled ‘Heaven’s Gate‘. With these two new bangers that Burna Boy has given fans this January alone, we are having wild thought of a possibility of bigger things from his camp in the coming months.
