An influential list comprising of Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray of Australian and Filipino descent, South African filmmaker Connie Ferguson, South African television host Anele Mdoda, Miss South Africa and Miss Universe 2018 Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters and South African activist, model and lawyer Thando Hopa, will choose the winner for this year.
