French President Emmanuel Macron just got a taste of the Afrikan shrine in Lagos on July 3, 2018. He got an exclusive interactive session with experts from the creative industry in Nigeria on his visit and a general overview of the African culture.
His night at the Afrika Shrine was graced with stunning performances from musicians on the night including legendary traditional music icon, Femi Kuti and then a one on one on stage chat with Keturah King. African culture in the eyes of the rest of the world has for some time now gained major recognition in the form of the incorporation of prints from the continent by renowned international brands exhibited on the runway.
African music has already received critical attention on the world stage with Afrobeats leading the pack and it is looking good right now for the entertainment industry. President Emmanuel Macron also met with Nigerian President for bilateral discussions that could benefit both countries and other African countries as well.
