Ghanaian actress and photo-model, Moesha Buduong was the subject of discussion on several media outlets over the interview she granted ace CNN journalist, Christiane Amanpour on her new docu-series, Love & Sex Around The World

It turned out, many social media users most especially women believed what she said on the show regarding falling in love with a married man, who pays her rent, bought a car for her and then provide everything she needs, was not in the right order. She further explained how the economic situation in Ghana makes it hard for young ladies to locate decent jobs. Hence, they opt for being mistresses to older men.

This didn’t go down well with women in the country, she was called to apologize for generalizing her claim, she did just that – Moesha Boduong Has Written An Apology Message To African Women Over CNN Interview

However, Christiane Amanpour has also added her voice to the trending situation since she interviewed Moesha, she wrote a long piece today on CNN to address the issue. Christiane explained the very essence of the program and why women must feel free in expressing their thoughts on modern love and sex. In her conclusion, she asked President of Ghana and the minister of Gender, Children and Social Protection to fight for the right of Moesha and other women.

What do you think, has Moesha’s contribution been misjudged?
