On the latest episode of Genius’ Verified, British rapper Dave and Nigerian Afrobeat singer, Burna Boy sat down to explain their hit single, Location.
The two musicians recorded and release the song in 2019, and within a few weeks, it became fans’ favourite party song. Dave said on the latest episode of the show that, the recording of the song wasn’t planned, it just happened. He was just trying to connect with Burna Boy as a friend and colleague in music, they ended up making a hit song.
Burna Boy took his time to explain that his verse on the song is relatable because it’s an everyday occurrence that many people go through to dive into the party mood.

The Nigeria Afrobeat treasure has been in superb form in the music industry since the release of his single, YE, and subsequently, his Grammy-nominated album, African Giant. The album was such a huge phenomenon, it became the most streamed album on the continent. He has far performed in different countries and stages including Coachella and others.
