Nigeria’s Davido is flying high on the Afrobeat wing right now, with series of mega festivals appearance week in, week out from one city to another.
Ahead of the release of a new album, he titled A Good Time, Davido brings fans closer to the album and gives a short snippet of the good products on it by sharing a new song – Risky featuring Jamaica’s dancehall and reggae star Popcaan produced by one of Davido’s main collaborators Speroach Beatz.
The two talented and global music icons connected in London for the shoot of the visuals which was put together by famous filmmaker Meji Alabi, drawing inspiration from the popular television drama Top Boy, renewed and produced by Canadian rap mogul Drake.
This isn’t the first time Davido and Popcaan have hopped on the same song together, they previously released My Story. Davido’s next studio album is expected to arrive by the end of the month under Davido Worldwide Entertainment, Sony Music U.K. and RCA Records.
