Ever since the Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters won the coveted Miss Universe crown two months ago, at Axis Theatre, Las Vegas, making her the first Miss South Africa to take this prestigious title since Margaret Gardiner in 1978, several engagements in the States have made it impossible for her to come back home.
She, however, has finally returned to South Africa for her official homecoming looking radiantly gorgeous. And as you would expect, a large number of fans and supporters with posters cheered and clapped as our girl made her grand entrance at the OR Tambo International airport, Johannesburg today to welcome her back home with joy.
there among these supporters were her mom and her beloved pet.
Also stealing the spotlight is @DemiLeighNP 's pet which she previously said is one of the things she missed a lot about home.#MissUniverse @HuffPostSA pic.twitter.com/0F3kctyJwF
