American skincare, makeup, fragrance and hair care products manufacturer, Estée Lauder, has partnered with French-Senegalese actress, Aïssa Maïga, in a new global campaign. The campaign which started on February 6, 2018, will solely be run online (Social Media inclusive) for the company’s best-selling foundation ‘Double Wear Stay-in-Place Makeup.
Founder of EGM NY, the New York-based talent management agency that represents Aïssa Maïga, touched on the commitment of the agency in the promotion of diversity as part of its core mission, and what it means to collectively join forces with a brand that shares similar ideologies in this new campaign.
Multiple-award-winning actress Aïssa, 42, has starred in a countless number of French-speaking movies including Jonas et Lila, à demain, Code Inconnu and Caché, Poupées Russes, L’un reste, l’autre part and worked with renowned directors like Alain Tanner, Michael Haneke, Cedric Klapsisch and Claude Berri. She certainly is looking to show her versatility on screen by taking up more English-speaking movie roles starting this year. She has already gotten roles in The Boy Who Harnessed The Wind alongside Chiwetel Ejiofor; 20 Pound Dream by Andy Okoroafor shot on locations in Nigeria and Hong Kong; and also Comatose by Mickey Dube from South Africa.
