South African fashion designer, Nokana Mojapelo is using his new collection to advocate against suicide in the country, mainly based on the arising statistic of mental crisis.

According to HuffingtonPost SA, 10 percent of nonnatural deaths recorded in adults and 9.5 percent in youth comes from suicide, an alarming situation that Nokana is seeking to draw attention to.

Nokana’s new designs comprise of hoodies, T-shirt and tracksuits with a detailed inscription of some of the major crisis that leads to suicide, examples being fear, depressions, pressure-to-succeed, post-trauma, anxiety among others.

Also, inluded is the contact information of South African Depression and Anxiety Group (Sadag) which collaborated with the designer to create the designs.
