She made her first appearance into the fashion scene with her debut LFDW collection which showed as part of the Fashion Focus. Described as  “subtle, yet sexy and sophisticated disposition” by Vogue Italia. Ráyo draws her inspiration for the The Hangaku Gozen Capsule Collection from a Japanese story of courage, bravery and self-sacrifice.

According to the designer, Lamipo Somoye: I want every woman to feel like she commands the room, the second she walks in. Without saying a single thing, she is perceived as the most intelligent, striking and unique being in the room.”
