Owned by Amon Ogyir Snr, this perculiar fashion brand produces Tees, bags and socks with the ‘Gye Nyame’ symbol from the Ashanti tribe in Ghana. Interestingly, the Ashanti tribe is the most populated and known to dominate royals than any other tribe in Ghana.

“Gye Nyame” is literally translated as ‘unless God’ or ‘if not for God’. There are different Ashanti royal symbols known to the people of Ghana, but this symbol is particularly distinct; every Ghanaian knows the ‘Gye Nyame’ and the power believed to be accompanied with the symbol as primarily majestic, and also religious.

The Ashanti Beads & Village T-shirts range from $100 unless the Toddler T-shirt which costs $40.

Having had knowledge of the branded symbol in these products, would you not say it is fair to sell them at ‘valuable’ prices? In my opinion, it symbolizes the value and worth of the traditional symbol.

Here is something to consider for a casual yet classy look.
