Screenshot (770)The 59th British Film Institute London Film Festival announces that South African film ‘Ayanda‘ would be screened at the festival.
Ayanda,” directed by Sara Blecher is the story of a 21-year-old hipster who fights to save her late father’s legacy, a motor repair shop — when it is threatened with closure.
The film stars Fulu Mugovhani and Nigerian actor OC Ukeje, with South African stars including Ntathi Moshesh, Kenneth Nkosi, Jafta Mamabola, Thomas Gumede, Sihle Xaba and Vanessa Cooke.
The British Film Institute festival includes 238 theatrical screenings from 57 countries. It runs from October 7 – October 18.
