Ahead of the May 19, 2018, wedding between the newly-engaged-royal couple, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, Lifetime is set to release a TV movie titled A Royal Romance which will take viewers on a journey of how Harry and Megan met, their romance, the proposal, when they met each other’s family as well as her previous marriage and divorce.
It was only late last year that lifetime released a call out for casts to play the lovebirds, and we didn’t have to wait too long to find out who made the final cut for the production set to commence in Vancouver and Los Angeles this month.
Playing Prince Harry is ITV’s ‘Victoria’ star, Murray Fraser. The British actor is best known for his role as PC Jason Denny in The Loch. American-Jamaican actress, Parisa Fitz-Henley will play Meghan Markle. Parisa has appeared in a series of TV shows include playing Reva Connors in Netflix’s Marvel Universe and has made appearances in The Girlfriend Experience, House of Cards and The Jane Austen Book Club.

The release date for ‘A Royal Romance’ was not revealed but we suspect it would be just before the May wedding.
lifetime did chronicle the life of Prince William and Catherine Middleton called ‘William & Kate’ which was released two weeks to their wedding in 2011, hence we are looking at a similar window of release for Harry and Meghan’s movie.
