Last weekend, Glam Africa hosted #BODYGOALS with footballer’s wife and fitness enthusiast, Amara Kanu. At this fun and interactive afternoon with Glam Africa magazine subscribers, we got to learn Amara’s fitness journey, tips from her new guide Ak Workout video and all her secrets to staying in shape as a wife and mother of 3. She taught us how to make some of the tastiest yet healthy smoothies and even got us up on our feet to try out some work out moves!
Our fitness panellists, Tola Ade King (Advanced Personal Trainer), Dr Lauretta Ihonor (Doctor/Nutrition Specialist) and Wale Gates (Fitness Enthusiast) shared a wealth of knowledge on what to eat, knowing your body type and how to maintain a healthy living as a lifestyle. We talked about Veganism, African diets and nutritional genetics. They even discussed some of the myths about fitness and healthy living that can hold us back from achieving the goals we want. We couldn’t have asked for a better panel!
