More than 50 artistes have come together to compose a song in dedication to the victims of the Grenfell Tower incident.
The track was organized by Simon Cowell in collaboration with 50 well- known artistes with the aim of raising funds for those who lost their homes to the fire.
The music has hit the number one spot on iTunes few hours after it’s release. Featured artistes include Rita Ora, Emeli Sande, Craig David and Liam Payne. Residents and survivors also appeared as part of the choir led by Gareth Malone. The song entitled “Bridge Over Troubled Waters” has become a hit.
One of the singers, Kelly Jones from the band Stereophonics said that although lots of bad things have happened recently: “I think the main thing is people are pulling together.”
