Domestic Violence has continued to be a worldwide problem. Mostly, women suffer the large portion of the abuse when it happens. The situation is quite alarming in some parts of Africa which include Uganda where security personnel are taking measures to tackle raise awareness against it.
In a two minute video uploaded on AJ+ , security personnel are seen with carrying babies at their back with fire woods and containers for collecting water on their heads to portray women. Which they say is a way of putting themselves in the shoes of women to feel their pain and tell men what women actually go through when they are abused.
With this, the personnel visited a town in Uganda, where according to the video most of the abuse cases against women take place at. Furthermore, they hope by walking on the streets doing what women do often will encourage men to change their negative behaviours against women.
