Legendary Nigerian singer, Fela Kuti continues to be celebrated in every corner of the world. Most especially among black communities for his in-depth understanding of music, and the messages he preached through the medium.
A new range of T-shirts has been designed by Ghanaian-American, Virgil Abloh’s fashion company, Off-White in collaboration with English grime artist, Joseph Junior Adenuga who is known on stage as Skepta and is set to be on the market in the shortest possible time.
The branded T-Shirts feature lyrics ‘Zombie, Oh Zombie’ from the Fela Kuti’s 1976 album, Zombie boldly inscribed in front with Fela’s picture, same words without his picture at the back. Unfortunately, we don’t know the date for which the product will be launched on the market. Skepta’s tweet, however, suggests they will be out this year.
