Women of the World Festival began from Wednesday, March 7 to Sunday, March  11, 2018, at Royal Festival Hall, London, hosting some of the best global authors and speakers to touch on societal issues.

Renowned Nigerian author, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, known for penning some of the best literary works over the years that have gotten her remarkable applauds around the word. She Joined British author of Why I’m No Longer Talking To White People About Race and journalist, Reni Eddo on stage.

Their conversation was based on Chimamanda’s strong understanding and beliefs in using the right medium to tackle pending issues such as racism, cultural diversity and feminism. Rather than just brushing them off. That is prominent in the novels she has channelled out – Purple Hibiscus, Half of a Yellow Sun and the most recent one – Americanah, which we will soon have the privilege of seeing on our screens, thanks to Lupita Nyong’o and Danai Gurira.
