Pop Up Africa and The Kach Me If You Can Showroom kicked off its first pop up shop mini-series on Monday, May 281, 2018 at East London’s iconic Spitalfields market.

The one-day shopping experience featured and brought together ready to wear clothing, accessories, footwear and interior designs mainly Africans. With participating brands including 10 Bows Boutique, Alero Jasmine, Gold Tribe, I.Kollection, Kilubukila, Kiki Kamanu, Lolli O Creations, Prelim and Taje.

A live discussion and book signing with WAG turned fitness guru Amara Kanu on body confidence and US celebrity stylist Kanayo Ebi on the growth of African fashion. Also in attendance was Casualty actor Charles Venn, Hollyoaks actress Rachel Adedeji and Afrobeat singer Di’Ja.

‘Africa at Spitalfields’ programme also included various African food, art, interior design, accessories, jewellery and fashion traders; in addition to live entertainment with Colourful Radio showcasing different genres of African dance, live music, poetry and storytelling bringing together people from all walks of the community.
