British-Nigerian Hollywood film star, John Boyega is not just proposing a marriage between the high budget, booming and lavish Hollywood industry and the rising Nollywood industry, no! he is willing to take action to let that materialize.
How would he do that? the 26-year old whose fame came after he starred in a British Sci-fi comedy Attack The Block which caught the eyes of many key Hollywood industry players and finally landed him a role in Star Wars: The Force Awaken directed by J.J. Abrams.

Switching to Nollywood, he has expressed interest in making a movie starring cast from the industry considered to be among the biggest and most flourishing in the continent. Now, if this should see the daylight, it will be a refreshing story for Nollywood. He has already confirmed in an interview with Onyi Sunday on Power Lunch West Africa that he and his team members are looking into a few scripts.
However, he added that the script to be selected has to, first of all, meet the laid down budget of $20-$25 million which is quite reasonable. Moreover, this is a great deal to try to bring the Hollywood experience to Nollywood and help expose talents from here to outside world.
We will be keenly looking forward to the making and premiere of the film.
