It is hard to count Africa in when it comes to certain sports in the world, this is because we hardly have the necessary types of equipment to train to be ready to take part in these activities.
But, three American-based Nigerian women, Seun Adigun, Ngozi Onwumere and Akuoma Omeoga dared to be different, they challenged themselves to make their country and the continent proud by making good use of the facilities available to them in the States to train and qualify for the 2018 winter Olympics in the bobsled discipline.
Since they qualified to the winter games, they have been the subject of discussion on major shows like ‘The Ellen Show’ and several others, and the latest addition is being used to serve motivational goals in the latest instalment of Beats by Dre’s ‘Above The Noise’ campaign.
