With Valentine just a few days away, everyone is in the love mood. Hollywood star Idris Elba, however, chose to seize the season ahead of everyone by proposing to his girlfriend, Sabrina Dhowre.

The award-winning actor, 45, who made his directorial debut with the movie ‘Yardie’ – an adaptation of the 1992 novel by Victor Headley with the same title, thought it to be the right time to go on one knee live on stage and propose to Sabrina in front of the entire audience at the Rio Cinema in London before the screening started.

And while it was not exactly what she was expecting, the 29-year-old model could not turn down the offer to be Mrs. Elba. This has left quite a number of throbbing hearts broken as  Idris is now officially off the market.

The beautiful moment was captured by attendees including David Marsden, Managing Director and Agent at Sainou.

The ‘Beast of No Nation’ star who originally swore off marraige after two not-so-successful marriages, shocked everyone with his proposal. But, it is what it is. Love has found him again and the wedding bells may soon ring after this engagement.
