Popular African-American filmmaker, Issa Rae is heading to South Africa to join other keynotes speakers for 2018 ’In Good Company Experience’. This is the first ever conference and has some of biggest names in the entertainment, technology, business and more including Xoliswa Daku (DCI Holdings, Daku Group), Charl Basil (Pernod Ricard), TT Mbha (Black Real Estate) at The Hilton Hotel, Sandton on August 28, 2018.
Celebrated South African film superstar, Nomzamo Mbatha is the official MC for the conference which seeks to touch on gender-based issues for both men and women, and also cover topics like diversity and inclusion to the forefront to be discussed by the panel.
Here’s a quick catch up on what Issa Rae has been doing, she successfully created the one of the most-watched series with ’Insecure’ which features American-based Nigerian screen goddess, Yvonne Orji and more.
