Micro-blogging platform Instagram has started the process of hiding likes and comment from followers.

Instagram announced that with the first phase being tested in Canada but, now the platform has included countries like Australia, Brazil, Ireland, Italy, Japan and New Zealand.
Followers will not be able to see the likes and comments of the users they are following have posted. The platform has explained that this is a means to decrease the level of popularity among kids.
