Music super creatives and record breakers like Lauryn Hill doesn’t release quite often but when they do, the world stand in total awe.
Lauryn Hill released Black Rage as a solo single in 2014, dedicated to police brutality, mainly to the people of Ferguson, after unarmed teenager Michael Brown was shot. After that, she was featured on Pusha T’s Coming Home song released in April 2019.

Her latest work is a contribution to the soundtrack album for Queen & Slim feature film starring Daniel Kaluuya, Jodie Turner-Smith, Bokeem Woodbine and more. Additionally, Queen & Slim made it global premiere at the AFI Festival in Los Angeles, attended by Rihanna and cast of the film.

The last studio body of work (album) by Lauryn was released about twenty-one years ago, which was her debut album – The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill.
Queen & Slim was directed by American filmmaker Melina Matsoukas, written by Jame Frey and Lena Waithe. The film opens in cinemas in the United States on November 27th.
