Another year and another Love Island is underway as selected contestants complete tasks as a couple leading to the finals.
22-year old customer service advisor from London, and former Miss Ghana UK contestants, Leanne Amaning, and 28-year old footballer and police officer, Mike Boateng have joined the 2020 edition of the show. Both contestants are from Ghana and luckily they have become partners and will jet off to South Africa together with the rest of the contestants for the competitions.
Love Island has become one of the favourite love reality show annually, with an impressive gradual rise in terms of viewership around the world most especially in the countries it’s aired. Furthermore, the show was hosted by English media personality, Caroline Flack from 2015 to 2019, however, Irish actress and presenter, Laura Whitmore has taken over the host of the 2020 edition.
The pairing for the new edition has been completed, now the competition begins with a series of different tasks to be done by the contestants. They will rotate partners during the various tasks until each finds the partner they are compatible with. The show airs on British free-to-air television channel, ITV2.
Who will win the 2020 edition to join previous winners including Kem Cetinay, Nathan Massey, Cara De La Hoyde, Max Morley and Jessica Hayes, is your money on either Leanne Amaning or Mike Boateng?
