South Africa comedian and Television host, Trevor Noah had a chat with Black Panther and Oscar-winning actress, Lupita Nyong’o on the Daily Show. Following a recent announcement by both parties for the adaption of Trevor Noah’s biopic ‘‘Born A Crime‘ into a movie which will see Lupita Nyong’o play the role of his mother.
Lupita compared the impact of Black Panther to her previous movies, notably – ’12 Years a Slave’ and the messages they carry. She thought Black Panther was a normal superhero movie that will be accepted but, it turns out that society is digesting the storyline – showcasing the beauty of Africa in a different way.
Lupita and Trevor didn’t reveal the date for the commencement of shoot for ‘Born A Crime’.
