We are living in a very important time for women to voice out and be heard clearly without trembling. When the Time’s Up movement was introduced, it paved way for every single woman to rise up to the woes that have kept her indoors or mute on certain traumatic societal challenges either at home or workplace.
The movement was up for discussion again at the 2018 Tribeca Film Festival in New York on Saturday, April 28, 2018. Black Panther star, Lupita Nyong’o was among an all-female panel team made up of Mira Sorvino, Amber Tamblyn, Cynthia Erivo and Michaela Angela Davis to talk Time’s Up under the subtopic Reclaiming The Narrative.
Lupita Wore an elegant blue Pantsuit with T-shirt which had the Time’s Up boldly written in black letters across her chest and pink earrings to match the colour of her shoes. The panel talked mostly about diversity and impact of women in the Hollywood.
