In a recent feature with Vogue Magazine, Amaka Osakwe creative director of the brand Maki Oh was asked what it meant to be a black woman.

She revealed…

“There’s really nothing I can do but be proud of who I am and just keep trying to make people see the beauty in me and my culture and all of what I stand for,”

Well that is obviously evident in her latest fall/winter 2016 collection. The look book details interesting African inspired fabrics with a touch of elegance.
