African fashion is seeing a boost in terms of interest from huge brands from well-known countries in the world to investors who are willing and eager to tap into this emerging market full of talented creatives.

Global fashion retailer, H&M partnered with South African fashion designer, Palesa Mokubung to release a new collection – Mantsho on August 15, 2019. It happens to be the first time the company is collaborating with a designer from the continent and we are certain the final products are going to be a masterpiece!

The designer is known for creating the best designs in South Africa and styles some of the notable faces like Terry Pheto. What this means for the continent and not just Palesa is that it will open doors for other Africans to break into the international market especially the up and coming designers with so much to offer.

Also, it’s an avenue to once more sell the authentic African fabrics to the world as the collection will be in all H&M stores in every corner of the world.

It’s a win for the continent!
