Nigerian filmmaker, Pascal Atuma is the man of the moment with all the right reasons to celebrate his recent additional glory. His film ‘Sweet Revenge’ won the Kevin Hart’s North American Film Competition intended to open distribution, promotion and marketing channels for filmmakers from all backgrounds.

Sweet Revenge climbed the chain in the competition and steadily making it to the top which was based on public selection before the jury members from Laugh Out Loud (Owned by Kelvin Hart) and Just For Laughs, with the nature of the story solely on telling multicultural narratives in a hilarious manner. Pascal was adjourned as the overall winner for making good use of stories that are happening in the lives of people with colour.

Naima Sundiata, Nelson Morris, Lou Israel, Bebe Obi-Okoye, Wendy German and Razie Brown-Stone are the cast for ‘Sweet Revenge’, written and directed by Pascal Atuma, produced by Ola George and Warren Beatty, edited by Mike Gallant. With the win, Pascal has inked distribution deal with Laugh Out Loud Company and Lionsgate.
