Queens are not easily made these days but Janelle Monae has managed to take her throne with her own accustomed colors of Black and White which she has perfectly been known to wore to every event, all she has to do is change her style and designer but maintain the colors.
This year’s Met Gala was under the theme “Rei Kawakubo/Comme des Garçons: Art of the In-Between” to honor legendary Japanese designer Rei Kawakubo, the founder of Comme Des Garcons.
Many of the stars that came for event tried to dress to match the theme of the event by adding extra class to their previous red carpet event which was what Janelle did with her black and white feathered gown.
Her gown for the event was designed by Ralph and Russo.
