Michelle Obama is always on a mission to impact the lives of the next generation together with her husband, Barack Obama.
She has been active with the Obama Foundation projects, and personal ones that will transform and change the direction of thinking for tomorrow’s world leaders. Since leaving the White House about three years ago, Michelle launched her book, Becoming, which detailed her personal life experiences as First Lady and other vital personal growth information.
More of such superb initiatives have been geared towards empowering the youth especially the girl child. During her term in office as First Lady, she led the Let Girls Learn campaign, aimed at providing and aiding adolescent girls receive the best of education to enable them to reach their full potentials in life. Also, her Reach Higher program motivated students across the United States to take full control of their future by applying for a post-high school program.
Continuing on the progress and mission of the Obama Foundation, Michelle Obama will travel to Southeast Asia together with revered actress Julia Roberts. The program will kick off in Vietnam on December 9th, before they depart to Malaysia for four days of collective brainstorming with over two hundred leaders from thirty-three countries around the world.
Michelle will be joined by Barack Obama on the last day of the workshop, as part of the Obama Foundation mission of bringing transformational change to the world through world leaders.
